How to choose a school for your son

As school choice become the inescapable topic of conversation in the school yard, at kinder pick-ups and on the weekend sport sidelines, where to send your son can start to seem like an overwhelming decision.

There are two important things to remember:

1. you do have options (which, let’s face it, can often be part of the problem!)
2. your son (rather than anyone else, or their opinion) must be at the centre of the decision-making process.

The best way to shut out the chatter and give yourself a chance to consider schooling options is to write down the factors that are most important to you and your son.
